A HUD is a huge advantage to have in todays game and Poker Edge has made theirs powerful and easy to customize. The HUD displays statistics for your opponents directly on the table. Each player will have a HUD box that will show you the players icon(these can be fully customized) as well as more valuable statistics on their playing style. Poker Edge 5 has added the feature of "HUD States" technology that allows you to see the most relevant stats on your opponents as the hand developes from pre-flop through to the river. I really like this feature as with other poker tracking software it can be hard to add all the stats you want on a player without over-crowding the table, for example on the turn the stats you see on your opponent are related to his action at this stage. Poker Edge also shows the table summary that includes table averages, pot odds, outs and more. 

Each component of the HUD can moved by simply clicking and dragging to where you want it and when you close a table Poker Edge will remember your HUD layout for next time.  The HUD is fully customizable and this is quite easy to do unlike some other tracking software programs. 

Each players HUD can be right-clicked with your mouse to bring up a pop-up that show you more detailed stats, if you double click on the HUD you get a full detailed report of the player, this report can also be filtered by site, stakes, structure, cash games or tourneys and even the number of players(see left).  Included in this report is the number of hands the player has played, profits/losses, when they last played, BB/100 and more.
